  Jorgos Skolias & Piotr Rachoń is a uniqe avangarde/ jazz duo, that released the “Free” album in November 2018 (V Records).
  
  "Free" is the result of a live studio session by Jorgos Skolias and Piotr Rachoń. In June 2018, the musicians met at Monochrom Studio, located in an open space on a hillside in the Bystrzyckie Mountains, Poland. This album came together through 100% improvisation - no pre-written music; no pre-conceived motifs or rehearsals. Everything you hear was recorded live. From the first notes of ‘Tuto’ to the last note of the title track. Astonishingly, it took just about 55-minutes to record ‘Free’. There were no overdubs. All the lyrics result from Jorgos' improvisation. He sings in Greek, Polish and Swahili as well as playing with words and sounds.
  Jorgos Skolias is one of Poland’s most original vocalists. He is an artist with a truly expansive and dynamic vocal sound. Jorgos is a very innovative musician inspired by the blues, jazz, rock and his Greek roots. He is fascinated by ethno music and uses a self-taught overtone singing technique.
  
  Piotr Rachoń is a highly accomplished pianist, composer and arranger. He is inspired by jazz, classical music and ethno music. Piotr is also an incredibly innovative musician, having created his own instantly recognizable sound; he explores and creates almost effortlessly on the acoustic piano. Piotr is one of the most original Polish jazz/ vanguard pianists to have emerged in current times.
